No Valkyria Chronicles 3 for us

Exactly as the title says, Sega has made it official that tere won't be an english release of the third entry into Valkyria Chronicles since the second game didn't sell well enough for them.

While this news certainly sucks, there's always the import option

It must be said, though, that Valkyria Chronicles is not exactly a you can play this. But hey, no crazier than importing games I actually have, or have seriously considered, picking up >.>

But I don't think anyone is surprised here, and this was the most likely outcome when VC3 was slated as a PSP game to start with. Granted, I bought VC2 on release day and literally haven't touched it because I wanted to finish the original first and am lazy, so I'm not liable to get too upset here.

Damn, I really liked that game too...

Perhaps if the made VC2 for, say, NOT ONLY THE FUCKING PSP, it may have sold a bit better...

It's their own damn fault for putting it out only on a handheld that few enjoyed using, and then going off and saying "Oh it didn't sell well so we aren't bringing you the 3rd one LOL". The first game was on the PS3, and that sold rather well from what I gather.

I'm sure that now that they are converting psp games to ps3 that we will see a vc 2&3 pack in the future. At least i hope so.
