Okay, that sells mefor this game. I loved The World Ends With You and the fact that they actually seem to be putting some thought into integrating the major plot element of that game into the crossover shows that SE is putting some effort into this. Hope more of the cast shows up in this DDD.
Still, since it looks like Sora and Neku are going to be teaming up it should be amusing to see considering they have similar hairdoes (all that's missing is for Cloud to show up and the three of them could just kill Heartless and Nobodies with all that spiky hair, lol)

If Neku is the only character from the game, I would be fine with that, but I at least think they should show Shiki, Higashizawa, Joshua, and/or Sho. I hope that the inclusion of TWEWY in the KH-verse isn't just for this game, although having this serve as a possible teaser for a sequel to TWEWY would be nice.

I was definitely planning to get this as soon as I heard about it, but this is definitely the best news for this game yet. I want to see Neku be a partner for more of the game, but it seems that he's basically taking the position of the Final Fantasy characters, since Traverse Town and Hollow Bastion are typically dumping grounds for having them show up.

I kinda want the TWEWY characters to stay on Nintendo plaformers, so I don't think I want them in any other kingdom hearts game, but that being said...OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!

I most certainly would like to see more characters from that universe, and what would be awesome? Fighting the noise! Suprised that I will be getting another Kingdom Hearts game though, I pretty much stopped at one and that was it. But with this announcement, ya happy I'm a 3DS owner. I wonder if Neku and the others will referent back to the way they were at the beginning and this time Sora and Riku help them with their problems...

Pretty much, yeah. I'm expecting some kind of expansion on many established plot threads, hopefully with more character development with Sora and others this time around. I wasn't particularly pleased with how it was handled in KH2 >_> (don't even get me started on that game. You'll get a wall of text that will sound an awful lot like Spoony complaining about FFVIII and FFX lol). It was a LOT better in the games released after that, so I'm guessing they know better now.

You act has if I understood the first games plot....Kingdom Hearts has some of the worst plot development I can think of. Its just to much over the place and very hard to follow.I mean I was to follow it half way through and then baam! a whole bunch of stuff happened at once.
Ill probably play the second game soon enough though, considering that the Kingdom Hearts collection seems more of a pipe dream then ever before, perhaps during a buy 2 get 1 free.

From this series first inception, I always hoped Square would add in some characters from other games than Final Fantasy. I mean, it's nice to see them, but I do like variety in this way. However, I definitely wasn't expecting Neku of all people. That makes me very happy indeed. I hope they have a few more of the characters from TWEWY or other Square games in addition to the new Disney characters and worlds like Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Still though, this game is just another on the growing list of reasons I'm really going to need to pick up a 3DS one of these days.

a 3DS is low on my list since I'm in the process of trying to purchase a house :P

I've loved the KH series and the various offshoots of the core games, I believe Birth By Sleep is my favorite still, but part of that is I like the PSP for handling the best
