Have you seen the new character design for Dante. And if that's not bad enough they are turning him into a lil emo sh*t too, WTF

and the story is complete BS too. He was raised in a orphanage run by demons. WTF?

I think it still might be good. DMC needs something fresh after DMC 4, which was meh, for me at least, and this is it. It's definitely not what I would have done for the franchise but it's better then tasteless mediocrity.

needs something fresh? How about the Story of Virgil? How about the Story of Sparda? How about the continue of Nero after DMC4? And the stories of the other chars like Trish and Lady with Dante as a cameo, There is a lot potential there but a emo Dante? Fail!

And other ones are OK at best...
I'm not trying to bash DMC here, and I also am not defending the decisions behind the new game but DMC has become stale and it needs change, that is cold hard truth.
And it's not just DMC but allot of other franchises are in the same position, as much as I HATE to admit it, Legacy of Kain is one of them because I can't imagine the sequel to defiance with the same art style in 2013.
