Does anyone use the Wii Virtual Console? Is it worth using? Can it replace old systems and game cartridges?
In a way, yes. It depends on how picky you are, whether or not you're planning on using component cables as opposed to composite (to my knowledge, there aren't component cables for anything older than GCN or whatever), and if you're willing to invest in a GCN/Classic Controller in addition to the game (if you don't have one of those already), since many require one (e.g., SNES and N64 games).
Note that not all Virtual Console games are perfectly emulated, but are still done quite well, particularly if they're older than N64. Also note that if you're going to buy a bunch of games, you're going to want to use a decent-sized SD card, though I'm not sure if the latest version of the Wii has as small memory as older models did (500-ish MB).
For me, it's great to just be able to experience (or re-experience) old games I never got to or can't anymore due to losing the cart one way or another. There's only so many games there, but it's still good for what it is.

Yes, considering its the only way to legitimately play certain games like Sin and Punishment. I also bought DKC2 has soon as i could when I got the Wii and Paper Mario as well. Later on I got SMRPG, a hard game to find otherwise and Super Metroid, as I didn't play it yet and wanted some prep for Other M (guess which one was the better game). I also got Star Fox 64 on their as a bit of a impulse, but for the most part I don't use Virtual Console because the games are locked to only one console which sucks, but some of the prices on their can't be beat, and others are expensive comparing to other services.
I think what make the virtual console useful is sales and account base games instead of console based. Overall its a nice service, but the 3DS virtual console is better I think.

Legal emulators will never be able to replace the real hardware. There are games which you will never able play due to licensing and peripherals...that means no DuckTales or Duck Hunt. The Virtual Console is only an alternative for convenience so you do not have many cartridges and consoles to space in your living quarters. It is also a great alternative to purchase the more rare and valuable products including imports. While I recommend using the Virtual Console, it will never pass as a replacement for the hardware.

Parsons, 39, also revealed, in an interview with the New York Times, that he has been in a committed relationship for 10 years.http://myeasynaildesigns.com/flash/images/smile.gif
The name of his partner has not been revealed. But some have speculated that it is art director Todd Spiewak, whom Parsons thanked at the Golden Globes and with whom the actor has been seen at various functions.
However, the interview focuses more on the actor's lauded stage work in The Normal Heart last year, as well as his upcoming Broadway work in Harvey.http://myeasynaildesigns.com/flash/images/face.gif
'"The Normal Heart' resonated with him on a few levels: Mr. Parsons is gay and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment, he said,Ħħ wrote the Times' Patrick Healy.
Heart focuses on the AIDS epidemic during the 1980s.
Parsons has won two Emmys and a Golden Globe Award for his work on Theory.
He will reprise his Heart role in an upcoming movie version of the play to be directed by Ryan Murphy.
Harvey is set to open June 14 at the Studio 54 theater in New York.
