Here are our general forum rules - We feel we've taken the best practices from other successful forums and modified them to fit our own community, we hope you agree!
First off, we can't possibly write a rule for everything. In order to address the multitude of issues that can arise on an ever changing forums we will adhere to the "no nonsense" rule. If we see nonsense on the forum we deal with it in an appropriate manner.
This is a privately owned forum operated by Blistered Thumbs Staff and Volunteer Moderators. We reserve the right to accept, decline or revoke memberships.
Absolutely No racist, obscene, pornographic or objectionable will be tolerated. All such posts will be deleted without notice. This includes avatars.
Create threads in the proper forum. Threads created in the wrong forum are subject to deletion.
Discussion or linking of pirated games/software/systems is not tolerated anywhere on the forum and will result in a ban
You will not violate a persons privacy by publishing against someone's will information that is private and personal unless you have evidence of a crime or scam. Your post will be deleted if you cannot back up your claim.
Personal attacks on other members will not be tolerated. You are welcome to challenge others peoples points of view and opinions, but do so with respect. Use the Report button if you see another member violating this.
Do not spam the forums, we encourage quality posts. Do not double/triple post if you want to add something to a previous post please use the edit function.
Your forum signature may not exceed 5 lines and 300 characters in length, and may contain no more than four links. Image sigs must not exceed 600x200 pixels. Violations of these rules may be corrected without warning.
Users may disagree with the actions or decisions by the moderators and/or administrators. However, disagreementsand criticisms are not to be aired within the forums. Please to PM the person directly, or bring the matter to another moderators attention rather than air your dirty laundry in public.
Any abuse towards our staff and/or management will result in an immediate ban.
Violation of the rules will result in a warning and possibly a ban, depending on the severity of the violation. Warnings will be issued by PM. Permanent bans are at the discretion of the Moderators and the Admins.
All Forum Rules are subject to change without notice. However we will do our best to keep this post updated when changes occur.
