Want to post a User Review? Excellent we'd love read it! Best of all, our moderators and staff may promote your Review to the front page of Blistered Thumbs in our Review Database. Keep up the good work and we may even ask you & your talents to join our staff!

Here's our Official Guideline on how to post a User Review in the correct format!

You review will be added to the user blogs within Blistered Thumbs, here people will be able to see all your work in one concise place. Here is how in just 10 easy steps!

Click the Blog Tab at the top of the screen, in-between the forum home button and what’s new.

On the right and side of the screen you will see a button saying 'Create New Post'. You want to click that.

Create your review, written or video. Please be sure to check for spelling mistakes, grammar and give it a read through. We want you looking your best.
Style your review the way we do. You are going to want a header picture and a couple of others to break up your review into sizable chunks. It's easier on the eye than a wall of text. Your Images should always be 600x320. You can play about with the 320 a little (to make a banner perhaps), but never the 600. The gods have spoken!
Remember to include your Pros, Cons and WTF section, usually after the opening paragraph. These should be little tasters of what's in your review, luring in people to read your work.
Give your game of choice a score out of 10. remember, 5 is average. Think long and hard about your score. we like to keep our 1's rare and our 10's even more so!
At Blistered Thumbs we don't just give a score out of 10, we also like to give our readers a personal recommendation from the writer. It allows the writer to express personal feelings on the game that may not come across in the score. These consist of:
• Legendary (The best of the best. Something that every game will aspire to be or beat. Or -perhaps something that will simply be remembered for many years to come)
• Buy It Now (Gamers should get up from the computer and go and buy this game)
• Try It Out (Perhaps this game is not for everyone or maybe not worth getting in a hurry)
• Avoid It (A bad game, there may be someone that would like it, but its definitely not you)
• Devil Spawn (The worst of the worst. This game gives gaming and/or gamers a bad name. Could be a good game, but maybe it went too far in some regard)
Categorize your article under User Reviews. It's in the categories section udner the "post now" button. If you don't the article may end up the in wrong place and never been seen by the adoring public. Make sure to click this!
Check your work. The check it a third time! No harm will come from proofreading. Everybody makes mistakes. If you really want to make sure, have someone else also check it for you.
Post the Review! Smile, you're on Blistered Thumbs!

Our staff constantly visits the forums and check on reviews and posts, and while we may not be able to comment on every single thing we like, dislike or wish to speak upon, trust us, we are watching. We run competitions, challenges and even have a community podcast that picks out the best of the best from our users and displays it for the entire world to see.

If you’re lucky you might even be invited to join in. Get really lucky and we will push your review onto our front page.

What are you waiting for? ;)
