Loved the YTP bit he did there, better than 70% of the CDI YTPs out there on YouTube.
I’m sorry I don’t care what you have going on in your real life I just like your voice and face and energy in this video and I really want you to fuck me.
Actually, it’s supposed to be Rubees. That’s something the CD-i somewhat did right; or rather the one thing they corrected from previous Zelda games that didn’t need correcting while making everything else bad.
It’s l/r thing, a p/b thing instead in Japanese, and the English ports never corrected the spelling (hence why the rupees look like rubees, their supposed to be rubees). The CD-i port apparently decided that now was a good time to correct the spelling.
That’s… Not true. B and P are easily distinguishable in Japanese, rupee is written as “ルピー” instead of “ルビー”
Not only that, but Rupee is actually the name of a currency.
I remember a news report a few years ago about a couple of million rupees being discovered hidden in a Hindu temple. And as soon as I read it, this sound came into my head:
That’s the worst thing that could happen if you gave Link a voice, eh?
WELL EXCUUuuUUSE ME PRINCESS!
Some people say third time’s the charm. I say, if anyone ever tries to give Link a voice again, I will show up to their doorstep with an angry mob.
Well, what with Google+ guess I’m going to watch the videos here so I can actually comment without being forced into a system I don’t want.
Setting all that aside, I wonder when the game makers realized that they were working on a sinking ship. Was it on the first day, did they know from the start that the writing was awful, the cut scenes horrible and the entire project doomed to failure? Or were they trapped in delusions of success, convinced they had created something that would forever stand proud among the ranks of Zelda games?
You, PBG, are the hero of Koridai!
