FFXIII-2 just totally wrecks the ending to FFXIII and then its own game. And somehow it was the perfect ending.

And Crazy Chocobo is awesomely terrible.

Hmmm… am I the only man in the world to think Sly 4′s story was good? I disagree… on… opinions. I have reasons, but I don’t think you can have a conversations by making comments.

If PC gaming is the overarching shadow government, does that make Apple the plucky revolutionary?

I kid, I kid (not entirely)

I’ve used Macs since the early 90′s but experimented with PC in college; there was frustration, fowl language and physical assault of the machine for the file the damn computer was hiding from me… I’m not allowed within 500 feet of one now.

First off I want to say that I am probably like minded of Hoyt’s crowd. FFXV is one of the most important reasons for now to buy a ps4. I always liked FFversus13 more than 13, but definately when 13 came out, I immediately hoped for versus to save the FF series, which i am very fond off. To bad Nomura is so god damn slow.

Staying on the topic of FFXIII. I really liked FFXIII-2 more than FFXIII, maily because the battle system, the monster system and the leveling system were a lot better imo. The story, world and characters of both games were extremely boring and most of the time nonsensical. The only thing FFXIII has over FFXIII-2 is a little better designed world art style (which btw seems to reach a low point in FFXIII-3 if the trailers are any indication).

I’m going to say something right now that might cause a number of people to enter a semi-euphoric state. Based on her intense popularity with the fanbase and the developers of Fire Emblem Awakening, Tharja might have a chance to be the second Fire Emblem character in Super Smash Bros.: Kerfuffle.

    About the PS4 privacy thing:

    1. My level of anger about the PS4′s privacy concerns is proportional to how invasive their policy is. I don’t like it, but I’m not fuming mad, largely because it wouldn’t affect me that much. On the other hand, Microsoft sticking a big honking camera in my living room to watch me 24/7 is pretty invasive, so my anger level about that is a good bit higher.

The idea that Sony might have a document proving that I typed “I PWN J00 N00B!” somehow doesn’t bother me as much as Bill Gates having a photograph of me picking my nose in my underwear.

    2. I think the point about XBone privacy concerns being “a cherry on a $#!% sundae” also applies. At the time attention was brought to the issue, MS had already done plenty enough to steam up gamers’ tempers; to suddenly discover that Big Brother Bill was watching us was just one more thing to be angry about, and at that point, the XBone was a punching bag.

    3. It also doesn’t help that, when the XBone privacy issues came to the limelight, the NSA-cellphone scandal was also a big item in the news. Tempers about NSA spying were already high at that time; it stands to reason that yet another privacy concern would raise tempers a bit higher.

And as for the shark eating the kid: I’ve been watching enough Discovery Channel lately. I’m pretty sure the shark can just claim it was “an exploratory bite”, and they would let him off the hook.

Your shark movie idea was good for a while, but then it seemed like you ran out of ideas and it just got too bad and ridiculous.

Oh, that Kyle Bosman … only he is loony enough to imagine the console wars as a battle of the bands.

It looks like Toriyama is putting his hands all over Final Fantasy 14: ARR!!! Sort of. Starting on the 14th, there will be special quests starring Lightning. Maybe this will mean players will be able to get J-pop clothes! NOOOOOO!!!!!

I just downloaded Burial At Sea. I’m expecting the upcoming review will describe just how awesome it is … or not. I hear it’s only okay.

Also, on the note of news for the new consoles, it seems Sony is now allowing Paypal to be used to pay for things on the PSN. Mind you, I have little to know care myself, but It could be interesting to know if this will have a positive effect or not.

On the subject of various meat, I think it is kind of sad how many people dismiss horse meat off hand, on the other hand it might be that I just have no taste, seeing that I’m munching on shark meat as I write this down.

But on the ending of the podcast: Kiss him you fool!

Is it Greenland shark? Which requires that you bury it in frozen ground for like 8 months or so to let it ferment so that it won’t kill you when you eat it?

        Yeah, more or less.

Eating it fresh wont kill you though but it is toxic enough to kill children under the age of 12 and it was used to kill orphans a few centuries ago…

…No mater how you turn this around the children always seem to get the short end of this stick.

Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t taste like chicken. It has a consistency similar to chicken, but to me, it tastes more like fish.

Well it’s a lot tougher than chicken but every time I’ve had it, it was prepared like seafood so it did kinda taste like fish.
