When Crytek debuted Ryse at E3, many fans and critics were underwhelmed. The combat looked to be largely based on quick-time events, with much of the action being heavily scripted. Microsoft’s Gamescom messaging is much different though. In addition to the new footage you can watch below, the team also confirmed that there will be a full multiplayer component not unlike Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.
Ryse: Son of Rome will be a launch title when the Xbox One releases in November.
