In an interesting bit of news, famed author Neil Gaiman is teaming up with The Odd Gentlemen, the developers behind the time-travelling, pie-stealing adventure, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom to make a video game. The new game is entitled Wayward Manor and has you play as a ghost whose peaceful rest is interrupted by a new family that has moved in. Now the ghost must find a way to scare off the revelers and make his haunting grounds peaceful once more.
Wayward Manor will be an episodic game that will have its first chapter released this fall. The game will come out on PC, Mac, and mobile devices. To raise funding for future chapters, a number of donation tiers have been made available on the game’s website. While you can pre-order the game for $10 (which also comes with a download of a track from the game’s OST), you can add everything from wallpapers to a dinner with Neil Gaiman if you’ve got the cash.
