Much has been made about the human enemies of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. But what about the plague of mushroom people that wander the post-apocalyptic Earth? Well, they’re in the video below, obviously.
As you probably surmised, some of the fungal undead are a bit blind. How the world was conquered by blind monsters is anyone’s guess, but the end of the trailer seems to suggest that it involved a lot of neck-biting.
The Last Of Us will hit PlayStation 3 on May 7th, 2013.

The Last of Us Plays Differently Every Time
“Dynamic stealth elements” and limited resource gunfights, y’all!
Like the idea of being stealthy against zombies that can one-hit kill you. Refreshing change from the gun-ho, Leeroy Jenkins style of tactics done in so many other games.
Well, I wasn’t planning on sleeping anyway.
One bite from a infected person is a game over.
They certainly sound unnerving.
All I could think about when i read about fungal zombies was “Sugar” with SOAD

It reminds me of “Siren” but with blind people.
