Lotus Prince Let’s Play: Child of Eden (Complete)!, 9.7 out of 10 based on 6 ratings

Remember how awesome Rez was?  Well, this game is very similar, but its musical style is primarily trance, and the visuals are freaking INSANE.  You have NEVER seen a game quite like this.  Sit back and take in the aural and visual beauty.

That game is absolutely gorgeous. Though seeing you play Challenge Mode, I’m slightly bummed by the fact that the difficulty is high as it is in the later parts of challenge mode, because the visuals are particularly impressive – but you’re too busy trying to stay alive to notice them.

For example, in the last part of the Challenge mode, the shapes as you enter into the stage are those of people, reclining, forming an arch, etc. It’s little touches that you could easily overlook while playing (and likely will overlook), but you might notice if you’re watching someone else play the game, and are thus able to turn your attention away from the action.

      Thank you very much!

And trust me, that last level took a bunch of tries. :-P

Yeah I agree, this game is gorgeous. I have tried it for the kinect, but that was not my cup of tea so to speak.

Btw Lotus, did you look into the games “the longest journey” and “Dreamfall – the longest journey”?

Playing this with the Kinect might make for a greater experience, but I’d imagine that it would also be a lot more difficult.

I haven’t played either of those journey games, though I have played “Journey.” :-P

Take a look at those two games they seem to be right up your alley.

The first one is kind of Alice in Wonderland in a distobian future.

The second one begins with a drop out student hunted by a little girl on the Internet.

Yeah, this blew my freaking mind. The only other game I can think of that did this much with color is El Shaddai (that’ll come later; don’t worry). :-D
