Thanks for the shoutout, Johnny!
I can imagine in the future me becoming a middle aged gamer & young gamers will ask me about old capcom. Something along the lines might go like this.
me: back in the old gaming days Capcom was a good company that respected gamers and was among the top innovative in making games like Resident Evil, Mega-Man, Devil May Cry, Street Fighter,…
young ignorant gamer: WAIT? did you say Devil May Cry?! you guys are fucking nuts!…I mean I never heard other fans rant about games except you guys…I mean asking the president to take the game out….blah blah blah
me:…( -_-) *FML*
Mario was arrested for his offenses against the Kong family, or practicing medicine without a license, either works.
I wanted to thank you guys for this podcast, it’s made my life more interesting and Austin’s mostly to blame. I started listening at episode 16 and it gave me the last push to try and get addicted to both SMT games and your show and now I have so much BT podcast on my ipod and so many Atus (and now Aksys) games on my shelf.
So thank you
and don’t worry too much about your titles, Destructoid’s are almost always more uhm… blue
Sometimes you guys make some really lame jokes (Austin)
We are the worst
I have decided the BT oddcast is my favorite podcast.
I have been wondering if you guys will ever do another special episode like “Farmageddon: The Cropocalypse”?
It’s certainly possible. We’d need to decide on a specific game that would be a good fit for us though.
You guys mentioned anime and watching it, so I have 1 anime recommendation for each of you:
Johnny, Stein;s Gate (24 episodes)
Leon, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagunn (27 episodes)
Austin, Baccano (16 episodes)
These are based on flimsy presumptions of your tastes based on these podcasts and they are relatively shorter than most animes, because I’m not gonna recommend you something like One Piece (now at 582 episodes).
Actually, most anime series are only 1 or 2 seasons, it’s just that the popular ones NEVER END. I think that your suggestions work, aside from Leon’s, because he’s not a fan of action anime. I know, right?
Added to the list!
