If this does turn out to be legit, there are some interesting choices here.
I dont get it what makes him so broken? I didn’t see anything until near the very end spamming the projectiles and being too small to hit with kratos’s bow… thats it? Doesn’t seem too broken to me. Can someone clarify where the issue is here?
The video isn’t representative of skilled players using Sackboy. I haven’t played the game myself but I’ve seen enough gameplay videos to see what went wrong.
The scoring system puts all of the emphasis on offense. If you can’t charge up your super meter fast enough, you are screwed. As a result, spamming moves works. Blocking is mainly used to interrupt combos. Blocking isn’t very effective against the numerous environmental hazards that Sackboy can create to mess up your attempts at approaching and break combos.
Yep I was right to pass on this game. lol

Tired of shock floors, tired of cake, tired of paint orbs, and tired of the freaking fan.
Oh and the level 3 no way you can avoid special of bubble slow death. Really a few characters have “HOW DO I AVOID THAT” level 3 deaths.
Also I’m proud to say that I beat THREE Dante’s.
I view Raiden as top annoying tier. Because I got the character select glitch, got a level 1 Raiden, and won the whole match.
for some reason I feel this game is late. I mean why hasn’t Sony thought of this in the early PS3 console release? or released in the PS2 era? It’s obvious they wanted to make their own game similar to Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. But I digress, better late then never I guess.
If they weren’t copying Nintendo 6 years too late, they wouldn’t be the Sony we know and tolerate.
well their where tons of these battle stadium games on the market back then like Kun-Fu Choas, Power Stone, Onimusha: Blade Warriors, Viewtiful Joe: RHR and Battle Stadium D.O.N. etc.

You gotta be kidding me…did anyone even test this?
Anyway, now I want to see Sackboy vs. Oddjob from GoldenEye 64.
At least unlike Oddjob and a Knight of the Meta kind, Sackboy is getting toned down.
(Although personally I think it’s just he gains AP too fast and that Level 3 is a little too strong for it’s very low cost to use it. combat wise he’s fair enough. This nerf just basically is trying to force you to use more than two of his moves.)
Sackboy.. really? I always thought Ratchet was the top-tier troll character to abuse. You get corner-traped by him and your fucked lol.
The absolute worst offender right now is Drake. Call it what you want, but he essentially has an infinite combo that’s super annoying:

lol l actually abused Drake against my friends last week, his air-dropping attack has huge range and it absorbs the most meter if l remember.
