MMO Grinder Backtrack: Doctor Who: Worlds in Time Update,
“Backtrack” is an idea I’ve been tossing around for a while now, where I head back to previously viewed games to look at any impactful changes made, (like new classes, interface changes, revamped systems.) Unlike MMO Grinder or Sidequest, Backtrack is an unformatted show, and just covers the changes. Please watch the original reviews to get the full story. For this BT debut of the show, I’ll be posting my latest, and my originally site-exclusive “pilot” as a bonus.
Today in December of 2012, we’ll be revisiting Doctor Who: World in Time (Featured in MMO Grinder Episode 13) to check out the changes to the interface and community systems, along with other minor changes.

BONUS EPISODE: Brick-Force’s “Defense” and “Build and Destroy” Modes (looked at in October 2012, during a case of bronchitis. Hence the even deeper voice.)

Funny enough I was just thinking about Worlds in Time. I tried getting back into this game a few months ago but eventually quit again. But after hearing all of these changes I think I’ll give it another shot. I mostly just got fed up with time puzzles due to lag, and the repeating puzzles but I think it’ll be worth it. Thanks for the review c:
btw for anyone interested I’m Sage Liu. I can’t remember if there’s a space or not.
They did seem to much better optimize the game and I don’t notice the painful lag as much as I did originally. I think some timed puzzles might still exist, but they’re much less punishing. Also, I forgot to mention this as it’s an OLD addition, but you can skip the dialogue sequences by hammering on the “Next” button. Very useful for timed stuff, or if you have a “no fucks given” attitude about the dialogue like Phelan does.
