    Dear TehSmarty,

I don’t have anything against you as a person, but…

Your “reviews” are lacking in both humor and insight. It’s like you’re grabbing at straws trying to find things to say about the games you talk about.

Please stop making reviews. You’re wasting internet.

It’s not your fault, though. You can’t get a real job. I know.

It looks like a good game, but holy s*** is it pricey! It’s too bad I wouldn’t be able to get it either on Steam for a cheap price or on a readily-available and easy-to-install emulator (I keep getting weird unfixable errors that no-one seems to get when I install any Playstation emulator, despite following all the steps of adding the BIOS and etc.).

I find it entertaining how Amazon goes “FROM $300-something”. It almost feels like Amazon is trolling me for having a low income. Apparently, it’s not enough that I’d have to fork-up hundreds of dollars to even buy a Playstation itself. :-P

By the way, I liked the introduction of your video. I basically reacted pretty-much the same way you did, and then I laughed.

This is one of the most addictive games I played as a kid, for months and months. My only issue with the review is the long intro and not as much game exploration. That and you havent actually played this as a kid so it feels like an outsider looking into it. IMO if you pick games you actually played and point out your fav bits from them so your audience can feel like OSHIT I REMEMBER THAT and it doesnt feel as much like a generic review

I never got to play anything other than the demo at Target, but I really liked Tomba!

And yay for a reference to Flint the Time Detective. I wonder why the first piece of (really good) deviant art was used for the series rather than a title card blah blah blah whatever.

Tomba was my favorite game as a kid. I’m glad to find out other people liked it too since no one I knew at the time had even heard of the game let alone played it. The game is pretty easy to beat but I never did figure out how to finish that job with the tree. It’s easy to find out how to do all the missions now but at the time not so much.

Ah man, this was a childhood classic. And criminally underated too. I remember coming home from school, turning on the PS1 and playing through it, and finding all the pig bags I could. Actually, I played the sequel first because as a kid I must’ve had Megaman syndrome, where I naturally gravitated torwards the sequel because story was irrelevent to me. :p

I wish I still owned a copy of it though. It was the best PS1 platformer ever.

Tomba goes by the name of Tombi in Europe, so it might be worth putting that in the tags :D

Also, check out the different into it has on YouTube…

(Australian Voice) That’s not a dildo this is dildo.

The first demo disc I ever owned had Tomba on it & did I ever play the crap out of it.

Great episode really makes me want to revisit the game.
