Rumor: XCOM Screenshots and Survey May Reveal More about Troubled Game,
With only a week to go before XCOM: Enemy Unknown is unleashed upon an excited fanbase, it’s only fitting that some new information would appear about that other XCOM game. The screenshots in question, which were provided by a Kotaku user, come from an alleged survey by 2K Games Marin to test the marketability of the shooter.
In addition to screenshots which seem to suggest the title will be a third-person shooter, as opposed to the first-person shooter it was originally teased as, the survey also tells a bit more about the game. The survey states that the game is being made by the same development team that worked on Bioshock 2, will be available on the 360 and PS3, and asks if the survey taker would prefer a $30 downloadable version instead of a $60 retail release.
Now, 2K games has denied releasing any new information on the game and refuses to make comments regarding the survey. So, what are your thoughts? Do these new screenshots and the possibility of a cheaper downloadable title interest you?
