Check Out the Weapons of Assassin’s Creed III, 10.0 out of 10 based on 1 rating

Oh yeah. That is what I like to see.

The push towards Assassin’s Creed III‘s release this November continues with another trailer for the game. This time around we get a video that pulls double duty of sorts: the nominal main focus of the trailer is highlighting the various weapons (including my new personal favorite the rope dart) that our new protagonist Connor will be wielding on his quest to help shepherd the United States of America into existence. However in a fun little touch, the trailer is narrated by a British and/or Templar leader which in effect gives a look of sorts into how the enemy views Connor and how they are prepared to treat even their own troops. Which is not nice from the sound of it. Check out the trailer below.

Oh yeah. I can already tell, me and the rope dart? We are going to get along just fine. Jut fine indeed. em>Assassin’s Creed III is set to arrive for PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 30 and 31 respectively in the US and Europe/UK. The PC version of the game meanwhile will hit shelves on November 20 in the US and November 23 in the UK & Europe. Finally, the Wii U version of the game will arrive alongside the launch of the system in both of the previously mentioned regions, which is to say November 18 and November 30 respectively. Stay tuned to Blistered Thumbs for continuing coverage of the game and be sure to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.

If they have the Long Rifle (a.k.a. the Kentucky Rifle), I think that will be my favorite. It was one of the finest guns of the time. Minutemen would fire at formations of British troops with Long Rifles (max eff range of about 300 yards) far beyond the range of their muskets (50-100 yards). I wonder if AC3 will implement that somehow.

I saw the Charleville Musket in the trailer. I just hope if the Long Rifle is in it, it won’t just be treated the same as the musket.
