If you enjoy the gameplay of a title like Team Fortress 2 but wish that vehicles had been included in the mix, then a new upcoming game from Reverb Publishing and 2 Dawn Games by the name of Ravaged might just be the one for you. The game is set in post-apocalyptic landscape where “the poles shifted, the world experienced a cataclysmic climate change that destroyed the continents and created epic new battlegrounds: dried-out ocean floors, frozen cityscapes, desert wastelands and everything in between.” Now the survivors have gathered into two main camps, the orderly “Resistance” and the chaotic “Scavengers”, players must pick a side and join the battle for precious resources. Built around 32 vs 32 player online combat, Ravaged will feature 10 unique classes each with their own individual weapon load-outs and split in half evenly across both sides, 8 oversized maps ready for both on-foot and in-vehicle combat, 10 vehicles including both ground and air-based rides, and over 40 weapons ranging from baseball bats and crowbars to M4A1 carbines & M79 grenade launcher to more esoteric fare like the homemade TennisBall Grenade and a Harpoon-gun. Basically, those looking for a new FPS fix could do a lot worse than checking out this game set to arrive next week and to help with that, feel free to view the newest trailer and a bevy of screenshots for the game below.
Ravaged will be available October 17 on PC for $24.99. A demo for the game will be launched on the 17th as well. For more details on the game, check out the game’s website here.
