New Transformers Prime Trailer Spotlights Which Bot Wants to Blast the Other,
When a series can make Arcee a fan favorite, you know it is doing something right.
Transformers Prime: The Game should not be confused as a new title in the current series of titles being developed by High Moon Studios. Instead this a title that is based off the current CGI animated Transformers series of the same name and will feature gameplay that has be been described by publisher Activision as a mix of “brawler-style combat and diverse driving sequences”. So with that all in mind, I present for you the latest trailer for the game which includes an appearance near the end of a character who will be rather familiar to fans of the comic iterations of Transformers franchise…
Yep. That was definitely a trailer alright. A trailer for a video game no less. Uh-huh. No question about that. … … … Yeah, alright, I will admit even as a big Transformers fan (and a fan of the specific series that the game is based on if it comes to that), I am just not that excited for this game. Still to be fair, just because this game is clearly aimed at the nominally younger audience of the current TV show does not mean that the game has to be terrible. After all, its developer Now Production has produced some pretty good games in the past including Sonic and the Secret Rings & a little series you may have heard of by the name of Katamari Damacy. Of course they are also responsible for the original Sonic Riders title so it does kind of balance out.
Regardless, I am determined to not write off Transformers Prime: The Game until I have at least had a chance to play it. And that chance will arrive for the 3DS, DS, & Wii on October 30 and for the Wii U when the system launches on November 18.
