Retro City Rampage Tears onto PSN, Vita, and PC Next Tuesday,
That’s right folks, after ten years in development, we finally get to play the 8-bit sandbox adventure that parodies all of our favorite NES games. Retro City Rampage, which was developed by Brian Provinciano, will finally be released on the PSN (where buying a copy will net you copies on both the PS3 and Playstation Vita) and on PC through Steam and GOG on October 9th in North America, with a European release occurring later this month. 360 and Wii owners will have to wait a while longer, though they can expect a release later this year.
Retro City Rampage is a gloriously nostalgic game that has you traipsing around Theftropolis City, unleashing carnage with loads of weapons, like the arm from Bionic Commando or a tanooki suit. The game also has guest appearances from the leads of other indie darlings, like Super Meat Boy, Splosion Man, and BIT.TRIP Runner. So, are you excited for this game? Wow …. after all the time they have ben talking about that darn game … They won’t even release iton all consoles at the same time … ??
Consiudering what we got when they said that we would have to wait a little longer for the game’s release … I doubt I will be buying it on my Xbox 360 …Cuz if I learned anything from whoever runs/makes that game is that a little longer means .. a freaking long time …
To think I’ve been watching everyday for news to buy it when it comes … for this .. wow … anyway thanks for the news … the game devs can’t even inform us of this & I am subcribed to their newsletter …I saw it here first ..
