Unfortunate news for any would-be Wii U owner looking forward to the release of Rayman Legends: the title has been officially delayed until sometime in the Q1 of 2013. Additionally, this delay applies to the title worldwide, which means that Legends will no longer be a launch day title for the Wii U in Europe and the UK. At this point reasons for the delay remain vague beyond a Ubisoft stating a desire to make the game exceed even the high expectations that many players already have for it. Their brief statement on the matter follows in full:
The remaining upcoming launch day titles from for Wii U from the publisher, which consists of ZombiU, Assassin’s Creed III, and Just Dance 4, remain set for release alongside the console. This delay brings the total number of launch day titles for the Wii U in Europe and the UK on November 30 to 12; the US launch day lineup for Nov 18 meanwhile remains at 23.
