Y’know what? I’m done with these artistic platformers. Do we really need another game where a big-headed kid explores a strange world using a gimmick so critics will eat it up and put it on their top-ten games of the year lists? There is nothing that will change my mind on this issues, nope, nothing at all.
Ohmigawd it’s so BEAUTIFUL. Pid is the first game by Might and Delight. The game is a platformer where you play a small child named Kurt, who is stranded on a planet full of robots that has a broken transit system. As he tries to avoid being found by some of the world’s less-than-friendly inhabitants, he must contend with an evil being who holds the planet in his grasp. The Kid will have to depend on his wits and tools like his gravity beam, which creates streams of antigravity that will help keep you aloft and out of sight.
Pid is available today on XBLA, PC (Steam and Gog), and Mac, with a PSN release coming soon. Please share your thoughts in the comments below and keep following Blistered Thumbs for all the latest gaming information.
