Need For Speed’s Most Wanted List , 10.0 out of 10 based on 2 ratings

Restricted area? You can’t tell me what to do! You’re not even my real dad!

Most of the focus on Criterion’s Most Wanted reboot/re-imagining has been on the open world. That’s understandable, what with Need for Speed: The Run quite publicly failing in its attempt to present a compelling main campaign. However, that doesn’t mean that the single-player experience will be devoid of purpose.

Much like 2005′s Most Wanted, this iteration of the sub-series will task you with taking down the titular black-listed racers. Plenty of cops will be trying to stop you, but it looks like the real challenge is chasing down and crashing the rival car. This seems like a pretty counter-intuitive way to unlock new vehicles, but what do I know? Also, I’m pretty sure that other driver is dead.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is coming to PC, PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and iOS on October 30th, 2012.

The Need For Speed series have run out of steam in the last few years, just put it to sleep, EA.

I personally feel that we have gotten to a point where they should just call the Criterion NFS games for Need For Speed Burnout.

So basically they took the original Most Wanted, gave it the setting of Carbon, and added the most annoying aspect of Burnout Paradise? Pass.
