Working with Tom was easily some of the most fun I’ve had in my career. I got to do my college co op there and I was the photographer for his wedding and did so much more.

I’ve been a following Screwattack since they made audiopodcasts back with Tom and Craig. I remember there being a list on the shitty old site, where you could listen to the older ones as well, and listened to ALL of them, although they were of course outdated. But the humour and effort put into them was not outdated, and so was nothing else you did back then, the hilarious eating challenges with Jose, Tom’s game reviews with the trademark “Useless Knowledge”, debating with that crazy political dude John Jefferson or whatever his name was who went batshit over GTA and violent video games, all the cool guests you had on your shows, and basically everything. Of course all went downhill from the time you guys disbanded, or rather, Craig fucked you over. I’m saying this, so Tom knows it: Screwattack is shit now and always was since then. Craig is a money whore, and they even started posting these ads under their videos with the TOP TEN THIS AND THAT or TOP TEN THIS WILL MAKE YOU CRAP YOUR PANTS articles that were just copied together from somewhere else and often lead to other rip off sites, the likes you usually only find on shitty One-Click filehoster and various scam sites that Google tries to delete out of their search pattern, and now it’s included in Screwattack, lol…. Also, the site is slow as shit on my browser and brings it to a crawl, because it was coded by the lowest bidder, obviously. The only show ever worth watching was Daily News (which unfortunately did better than your news show), the Clip of the Week, and a game review or random funny act here and there. You know, the only things I expect from a gaming website. But NOW it’s a huge clusterfuck of useless features and you have to search deliberately for gems among the huge pile of shit that the retarded users throw on there day by day. The good guys are gone, however, Destin, Jared, (you), but I’m sure Craig will find new slaves who will keep his site running at the bare minimum, since unfortunately he DOES know more about making money and fucking people over than Tom does. Doesn’t matter to me none, though, because Tom, nobody beats HANDSOME TOM and his crew, especially not some backstabbing motherfu**er.
We wish you ALL the best of luck and success in your future endeavours, with Liz, with whoever you hang out with, with your friends and family, and that you never sink as low as that bottom-feeding, scum-sucking algae eater. Stay awesome, stay healthy, stay handsome, and most important of all, stay Heroes!

Oh no, the laziest, dullest, dudebroiest show on BT is ending? Can’t say I’ll miss it considering the two episodes I saw were absolute garbage and seemed to be little more than flame-bait.
But, despite me not liking it, I’m not one to wish ill on someone’s future. So, good luck, and I hope whatever you do next you have a bit more passion for and put a lot more effort in to.

I’d be a little more broken up about this, if I couldn’t just give a webcam to any random idiot frat boy who can barely dress himself, and get the same sort of thoughtless opinions, lack of knowledge, poor journalism, and complete failure at humor that the Game Heroes are famous for. This farewell is ironically the best video you guys have ever done (thanks mostly to Chrono Trigger’s end theme). But, you guys have decided to stop, and I should be grateful to you for doing the right thing. So, thank you.

Ok then, I am being a jerk, and I’m very happy to see TGH end. From the episodes I watched this was probably the worst show on BlisteredThumbs/TGWTG.
As Spoony said Blistered Thumbs and TGWTG probably have way to many people, making it hard for newer members to get noticed, this horrible show ending will thankfully make more room for newcomers.

Don’t want to sound like a jerk, but I never really liked GH that much. I could even say that some of their stuff really annoyed me. And Handsome Tom just wasn’t the same again after he left ScrewAttack.
Tom, I don’t usually comment on your videos and that I’m not a fan of TGH, that doesn’t mean I don’t like your work as well as 8-Bit Mickey’s. If anything I know about TGH, it’s the duo of Tom and Mickey.
Seriously Tom, you and 8-Bit Mickey were funny and great together. Not to say I don’t like your other crew members (I don’t know them that much honestly), you and Mickey are the only ones I know and I’ve watched some of your stuff on this site – Blistered Thumbs.
Remember the videos of you and Andy ranting about Sony’s PSN being hacked and when you two addressed in a rather poor approach, you got many people – the PS3 players – calling you two out as 360 fanboys.
Yeah, I know. I still don’t like that video Tom, but that’s okay. No harm feelings at all. After all, you are the nicest contributors of CA/TGWTG.
Since you are retiring TGH, is there a chance you’re still working with CA to try out other new projects that doesn’t take away your time on other businesses and family? Could you clarify on that?
Well, for now I guess, thanks to you and 8-Bit Mickey, it would be hard to see you two un-glue yourselves for doing TGH videos. Hope that you two are still friends and planning to work together on newer projects. Take care and it’s been fun.

Judging by the quality of the videos released by the Game Heroes in the past, I won’t be missing them one bit. I’m sorry to say this but these guys haven’t exactly been known for quality and top notch material.

Remember guys, retirement isn’t all bad. It’s what you make of it that count. Here are a few tips:
1. When playing shuffleboard on a cruise ship, it’s okay to swing that stick like a golf club in order to win. (Just think of it as a Wiimote.)
2. Permabond is the shit when it comes to keeping dentures in place!
3. Cranky Kong likes to spit when he chews, so stay clear.
4. Hope you kept a little extra of those coins you’ve been nabbing from the Mushroom Kingdom all those years, because Medicare only covers so much.
5. And finally, don’t auction off all your Wii games. Remember, all the others in the old folks home don’t know the Wii can play more than just Wii Sports.
Since you’ve got businesses and family to take care of, I’m sure you’re doing the responsible thing by ending the show. Keep up the great work and good luck to you.
