One dark moonlit night, a young boy named Kutaro was carried away by the maleficent Moon Bear King to a black castle where the unlucky lad was transformed into a puppet. Kutaro displeased the terrible tyrant, who devoured the boy's wooden head and cast away his body. But the headless hero was not alone, for he had discovered a very special pair of scissors to help him on his harrowing adventure to find his head, and his way home. Puppeteer is a brand new franchise developed exclusively for the PlayStation®3 system by SCE JAPAN Studio. Set in a magical puppeteer’s theatre, this title will introduce you to a strange and fantastic world, where the environment is constantly changing. Players will enjoy a rich, dark fairytale where surprises lurk around every corner.

I just cannot resist: “This is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween…”

Here we go. Four, count them four, new trailers for upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusives games have arrived and all are themed around that most wonderful of holidays, Halloween. So get ready for some tricks and treats alike as Sony give us a look at some of the big guns in their arsenal for the months and year ahead. First up, we have a trailer for a game due out just next week, LittleBigPlanet Karting , because hey, who knows more about dressing up than the Sackboy and his friends?

On the subject of dressing up, here is a trailer for the upcoming, and long desired, return of everyone’s favorite light-fingered raccoon, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, that focuses on the different costumes Sly will be able to don and the abilities they will grant.

Time to put away the lighter side of Halloween in favor of darker things with the following trailer and screenshots for Supermassive Games’ upcoming Move-focused, horror game love letter to the slasher genre, Until Dawn.

Finally, is one last trailer for a game already shaping up to be a real contender for my game of the year in 2013, Puppeteer. So join us as we take a look at the horrors and delights of… Hallowee Ville!

All the above games are of course PS3 exclusives. LittleBigPlanet Karting is due out on November 6, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is due on February 5, 2013, and both Until Dawn and Puppeteer are due out sometime in 2013. Stay tuned to Blistered Thumbs for continuing coverage of all these games and be sure to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
