Get Hyped for Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward, 10.0 out of 10 based on 1 rating

Is… is that Jinzo?

Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward is the “spiritual sequel” to the cult classic Nine Persons, Nine Hours, Nine Doors (also known as 999). Aksys released an OVA earlier this year to promote the title, but only just dubbed it into English. Soak in all 13 minutes of premise establishing and character introducing.

In case you missed it, Virtue’s Last Reward was one of my most highly anticipated PS Vita titles. That’s high praise for a relatively obscure series, but don’t take my word for it. Here’s a great video explaining why the first installment was such a memorable experience. Also, feel free to check out the recently reissued edition with sweet original box art.

Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward will be available on October 23rd, 2012 for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

Guess I’m gonna have to buy that 3DS now, since I loved the shit out of 999.

I watched the video for 3 minutes and then stopped. Way to many spoilers.

Ah well, the creator did state on their website that Junpei would never find her so I guess hoping this game would be tied into 999 wasn’t really viable. Still wish we had gotten a better ending.
