Developing: Joker and Green Lantern in Injustice, 10.0 out of 10 based on 1 rating
After Green Arrow was added to the Injustice cast yesterday, you would think NetherRealm would wait a bit before adding another green character to the roster. You thought wrong. Ed Boon confirmed on Twitter that The Green Lantern and The Joker are the next confirmed combatants of DC’s fighting game.
No video has been released as of this writing, but a screenshot of both new characters has hit the internet. You can check it out via Game Informer. Feel free to gawk at the newly unveiled boxart as well. This post will be updated as soon as possible if a gameplay trailer is released.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is scheduled for release in “April 2013″ for the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U.

Developing: Joker and Green Lantern in Injustice, 10.0 out of 10 based on 1 rating

In today’s edition of RAD we join Birdman and Batman in their attempt to free the world the iron fist from a man of steel in Injustice: Gods Among Us.
Metropolis lies as a nuclear ruin and Lois Lane and 8 million other people have died at the Joker’s hands and Superman finally snaps. This is the DC fighter we have been waiting for since the somewhat disappointing MK vs DC a few years ago. Does this fighter have the stones to build up the fantastic reputation built by Neather realms MK reboot? Is this finally the true story based fighter we have wanted?
Prepare to choose a side in this war! Are you with Batman’s insurgency or under Superman’s regime?

Personally, if they’re up to releasing Scorpion, who isn’t even from this universe, there wouldn’t be a problem in releasing characters from other timelines like, say… Jonah Hex? And one of his alternate costumes would be the kickass Black Lantern Jonah Hex look.
Don’t call it campaign, it’s story mode.

I wanted to love this game but just couldn’t. Button delay, cheap ai, laggy online, star labs just got annoying and repetitive, cutscenes looked crap. The prequel comic is great though, I think they have written up to issue 24 so far.

Is it just me, or is the Joker’s nose unusually pointy?
Finally, confirmation of my favorite superhero, Green Lantern! I’ve been wondering what was taking them so long on that, given he should’ve been one of the obvious guys they got out of the way in the first wave of announcements. Now, to wait for a video…
Sadly, probably not Mark Hamill Joker. Since Arkham City was to be his final role as the joker (Unless they do a animated movie version of The Killing Joke…)
Hey, just because Mark Hamill is everyone’s favorite, doesn’t mean there aren’t others who have played the role well. I personally liked Richard Epcar in MK vs DC.
Speaking of, my best guess is most, if not all, the characters on the DC side of said game will be included. That means, Deathstroke, Lex Luthor, Captain Marvel and Darkseid could be announced later on. Of the four, Captain Marvel is one I could do without. Maybe if they replaced him with Captain Atom or Sinestro.
Lastly, why do I have this gut feeling that Black Canary could also be a possible inclusion?
Black Canary seems like a perfectly possible one, yeah. She’s a B-tier or so character, reasonably well-known. She brings a power that’s quite different from the other characters, but is known for her physical prowess as well, so she fits combat-wise. She’s also a female character choice that isn’t just a female version of another character that is already in or likely to be in, as many of DC’s female heroes are (i.e. Batgirl, Supergirl, so on and so forth). Sounds perfectly probable to me.
