Wreck-It Ralph’s Newest Trailer Is Here to Make You Wish It Was November Already,
The most common quick-and-dirty description I see for Disney’s upcoming animated film Wreck-It Ralph is “Toy Story for video games.” In addition to being a very marketing friendly descriptor, I have to say that it also strikes me as surprisingly. The story of a classic 80′s arcade-era villain à la Donkey Kong who has grown tired of his daily life of playing the bad guy, Wreck-It Ralph has been on the radar of a lot people ever since Disney first announced it. At the very least it has been on mine and every new piece of footage, trailer, or what-have-you has only served to make my desire to see this move even more all-consuming.
I mean the premise is sheer brilliance, the voice cast (which includes the likes of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, and Alan Tudyk among others) is some of the best in the business, the animation looks flat-out gorgeous, and the film’s creators have even managed to rope in a bevy of classic video game icons for cameos and supporting roles. No matter how you look at it, this is shaping up to be one heck of a movie for those of us with a love of the industry. So yes, I cannot wait to see Wreck-It Ralph and do not be surprised if after checking out the latest trailer for the film below if you end up in agreement with me:
“You hit a guy with glasses. Well played.” Yes. Yes it is. Wreck-It Ralph arrives in theaters on November 2 2012 in the US and (ouch) February 15 2013 in the UK and Europe. A side-scrolling platformer based on the film is also set to arrive exclusively for the Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo DS this November as well and Ralph will even show up in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed as a guest character. Stay tuned to Blistered Thumbs for continuing coverage of both the film and the game based upon it and be sure to share your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below.

Somewhere out there, there is a person who sat in on a meeting about which movies would be shown in Swedish cinemas. And that person…decided that Wreck it Ralph should NOT be brought over and translated.
I…will…FIND…that person.
Cool, FemShep.
where?
I. WANT. THIS. NOOOOOOOW! I don’t care how the movie will really be like. I’ma get on a sugar rush and enjoy the hell out of it for at least once.
So looking forward to this movie. With the release of this, The Hobbit, and The Avengers to name a few, this is a great year to be a nerd.
