Sonic.exe – MegaGWolf Version, 6.7 out of 10 based on 3 ratings MegaGWolf dives into the creepy as he recreates a creepy pasta based on Sonic the Hedgehog!


Sonic.exe is a creepy take on a small blue hedgehog! A story about how the game is cursed to doom whoever plays and I put together my own video trying to recreate the “events”.

    Video doesn’t work for me :(

    Anyway this is a genuinely creepy story for a number of reasons. First it’s easy to imagine getting a strange game and not knowing what’s on it so of course you check it out. Secondly it takes a normally very upbeat and cheerful game and twists it into something unnerving. And finally I think it works because it’s sort of a videogame spin on The Ring, which is pretty creepy.

    Too bad I couldn’t see the video but maybe that is for the best as I’d like to be able to sleep for the next week :P

    It’s probably just me but I find gaming creepy pastas far creepier than even the most scary movies. I don’t know why, maybe if find it more plausible to find a weird/hacked game that plays with my mind than getting attacked from a monster or ghost. Also most of the good ones do a really good job in making you believe that they could really happen.

    It’s silly I know.

    Oh good… I uh… I didn’t need to sleep anyways… o____o

    Though I will say that you DID relieve some of the tension with an unintentionally silly ending.

    But seriously, I didn’t read the creepy pasta, so this scared the shit out of me!

    P.S. THANK YOU for not putting in any jump scares. I was tensed up enough as is, so a jump scare might have given me a heart attack. xD

      Oh also, if you would like to recreate some more creepy pastas, because this was actually quite striking, I would recommend recreating “Pokemon Glitchy Red”.

      If you google it, it’ll give you the whole story, but basically what it amounts to is that rampant glitches in an old Pokemon Red cartridge causes Red to gain sentience and starts to screw with the player.

      It was really creepy, and I believe you could more than do it justice. =)
