    **Spoilers within**
    WORLD EXCLUSIVE 1st review

We have pulled some strings and called in some favors and even bribed Alliance brass… but here is the first review for the Funimation anime, Mass Effect: Paragon Lost.
Birdman and his N7 Squadmate Tiffany give you the lowdown on this James Vega-centered adventure that takes place before his fateful journey with Commander Shepard.
The colony of Fehl Prime is under attack by the Collectors and this battle could change the outcome of the war based on the soldiers of Delta squadron actions.
Does this anime tie in provide answers to the back story between Mass effect 2 and 3 or does it leave us wasting thermal clips?

    Birdman

Mike Dodd is the guy who always said video games could be turned into a profession and eventually it turned out he was right. Mike is a passionate nerd about all facets of nerd culture from the love of the BBC’s Doctor Who to the very latest in the fight game scene, he’s on to it and likely turned into his new obsession. Dodd was raised to love all things that were pop culture from viewing his first horror movie at five years old to owning one of the first Nintendos in North America, it’s been a childhood dominated by the controller and movie screens and he couldn’t be happier. Roleplaying games such as Dungeons and Dragons dominated the high school years and unhealthy doses of Japanese anime were frequent as he completed his education and took sometime off to explore Canada and the US. However as all good times must come to an end, a decision was made to get some experience and do something fun and learn something and meant getting involved in the media. Mike volunteered with Rogers Television and became the audio/technical director for several successful programs and decided that he should further that experience by going to college. 4 years and several massive headaches later, Mike became known as “The Birdman” of This week in Geek but that is a story for another website….

There wasn’t much input from Tiffany. I have to assume consensus on the opinions expressed. I found the listing the guns portion a bit irrelevant. In games they’re a bit exiting because you yourself will have use from them. But in movies I don’t really care what guns the main characters are using. Unless the weapon is like the Master Sword, the only thing to kill the big bad meanie. Guns are just tools.

Just an observation from someone who’s played way to much of my favorite game. The end of the movie may be set after the end of the third game. That would explain the Citadel being in orbit of Earth and Vega being in N7 armor. If the movie pays attention enough get the details of the individual guns right, it seems odd they would mess something like that up. Anyways, hope that helps. I’ll definitely check the movie out when it finally gets released.

We considered that after the record
Still, I was very impressed by it overall and can’t wait for others to check it out!
