In the words of Ladd Russo, “GUNS!? I LOVE GUNS!”
….. Wait, those are all the characters in the game? That means that, despite SEGA’s involvement, there will be NO Sonic? Profound. Sadness.
You see Compile Heart, this is how you make a crossover game.
If this game get’s an NA release and no European release I will cry. I need my Sakura fix. And my Yuri Lowell fix. And my precious Kos-mos and T-elos fix. Also Mega Man fix. And…
So in other words, I need this game in my life.
The opening was nice.
*Coughs and holds chest*
Woah. Excuse me. A guy can only take so much awesome in one sitting.
I really enjoy the stylized art in this opening, and I think that it manages to do all the characters justice from their original designs while at the same time actually making them look like it would make sense for them all to be standing side by side like this, much like how they handled NxC.
There are a few ommissions to the roster that make me tilt my head a bit. The lack of Klonoa or Pacman from capcom for instance. But hey, maybe that’s just me. It’s more of a personal observation than anything else, and I’m still as excited as ever for this game.
Well, the intro is by Hiroyuki Imaishi. Yes, the (now ex-) Gainax Imaishi. The Gurren Lagann, FLCL, Panty and Stocking Imaishi. Of course it looks awesome.
small correction here: Klonoa and Pacman are NAMCO not CAPCOM. *cough*
Holy crap that Obari-style giant robot guy at the end.
The song starts like a Nanoha opening, but develops in a different direction. Kinda retro’ish sounding. It’s pretty cool, but I like NxC’s Brave New World more.
