Halo 4 Screenshots Show Off New Gameplay Modes, 10.0 out of 10 based on 2 ratings

Flood mode: AKA: AHHHH! AHHH! AHHH! the game.

Today, new screenshots have popped up that show off more of Halo 4‘s gameplay. The screen shots show off gameplay from the game’s “Infinity” and “Dawn” missions, as well as show off the game’s two new multiplayer modes, “Spartan Ops” and “War Games.” The Infinity mission was shown off at this year’s E3 and is the first level to feature the new Promethean enemy. “Dawn” is set aboard the Forward Unto Dawn and has you fighting remnants of the Covenant who are attacking the downed ship.

“Spartan Ops” is a cooperative mode that has four Spartans doing story-driven missions, like boarding an abandoned Forerunner ship, as shown in the screenshots. “War Games” is a new mode that creates different scenarios for players to go through. The new screenshots show off “Flood Mode,” in which four Spartans have been consumed by the Flood, becoming nearly-invincible monsters that you have to hunt down. The game is coming out on November 6th for the Xbox 360. So, what are your thoughts?

I really hope the flood thing is only related to multiplayer. Their story should be done in the single player after three. Seriously.

I can’t be the only one that thinks those Flood look a bit like the Putty Patrol from the old Power Rangers…
