Come October, we have a new name for Cyberpunk

CD Projekt Red is planning a live stream news event on October 18th at 2 PM, EST, according to their facebook wall postings.

The event will be going through some news pertaining to both The Witcher 2 and Cyberpunk For the futuristic RPG, CD Projekt Red is planning to release the official name to the Cyberpunk title. For The Witcher 2, is also getting “a bunch of thrilling announcements” according to the wall post, regarding the release of The Witcher 2 to OSX machines this fall. Perhaps the biggest news will be regarding the REDKit Mod Tools, which is currently accepting beta applications until September 30th.

And in keeping with their tradition, GOG.com is also getting involved again, as they are expected to officially announce plans to bring a lineup of classic PC titles to a “new operating system,” which likely means GOG will also be releasing for the OSX.

Look’s like we will find out come October 18th. You know that Blistered Thumbs will be watching.
