Dragons used to be so scary. What happened?

A Monster Hunter 4 trailer was part of my TGS round-up yesterday, but that was only a short look at the game. Thanks to Siliconera, we now have plenty of actual gameplay footage, along with commentary by producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and director Kaname Fujioka. I hope you speak Japanese.

The big news coming out of the Tokyo Game Show is that this blockbuster 3DS game will include online multiplayer. This is monumental for not only the title itself, but for the future of the portable console. Expect Nintendo’s handheld to fly off of the shelves in Japan when Capcom’s venerable series launches in a few months.

Monster Hunter 4 is scheduled for a March 2013 release in Japan. No localization information is available at this time.
