Immersive?

The last time we saw ZombiU, Ubisoft was trying to convince us that it was a legitimate survival horror title. This time, Nintendo wants to sell us on its fancy Wii U controller, which I continue to erroneously refer to as a tablet. Let’s check it out.

The Wii U GamePad continues to be a fascinating bit of technology. As a map and inventory screen it appears to work fine–perhaps even better than a traditional pause menu. But as a sniper scope or motion controller… I’m not sure yet. It will be difficult to say until I get a significant chunk of hands-on time with the console, but I am optimistic. Look forward to BT’s ZombiU review as soon as the game hits shelves, when we finally let you know if it all comes together.

ZombiU will be out by Christmas this year, exclusively for Wii U.

Wow, color me impressed, I might actually be looking forward to this game!

I just hope it turns out to be more than “What Dead Island should have been”. =P
