No Crash Bandicoot, no buy.

In a blog post just posted on PlayStation.Blog, SuperBot Entertainment president Park Chan revealed that Sony crossover fighter All-Stars Battle Royale is being delayed. The game was scheduled for a late October release, but has been pushed back until “November 20th, 2012 for North America (including Canada) and Latin America territories.”

The official reason for the decision is that the move will allow SuperBot to “spend more time polishing and tuning the game, and it will give us a chance to incorporate some of the great feedback we’re receiving from the current limited beta to ensure we are creating the best possible fighting game experience.” Despite this shift, new fighters should be debuted at Gamescom later this week. Stay tuned to BT for this and all other information about PS All-Stars as it becomes available.

Kind of expected this. I watched a person playing the beta and within two minutes, a person playing as Sly triggered a Level 3 glitch which caused the attacks crosshairs to scroll to the top of the stage and prevent anyone from being able to see what they were doing. Then when the battle ended the person who got third place was declared the winner. Polish away, guys!

If Ryu Hayabusa gets confirmed, then that’s really amusing seem as Ninja Gaiden is one of the reasons why the xbox was a successful console (hell, l even bought one so l can play NG:Black.)

Still hoping for Raziel to be in this game.

I hope Gamescon reveals are more than stuff on the leaked list. We already know it’s official now they’ve announced Sackboy and Raiden in the game. Sounds like Ryu Hayabusa of Ninja Gaiden fame might get revealed soon as well.

And yes, Please Crash Please. Spyro aswell. But I’m sure Activision is going to charge by the butload for them. Lets see how Dedicated Sony are to getting them back, remember Disney working to get the rights for Oswald the Rabbit for Epic Mickey?

I’m with your caption, Crash has to be in the game, despite him being a 3rd party IP now (frickin Activision). There should also be at least 1 RPG character as well (besides Lightning) considering RPGs dominated the PS1 and PS2.

It was confirmed on the Paul Gale Network that there is an RPG character in the game.

Thankfully, the CEO of Activision is a huge Crash fan (yes, of the original Naughty Dog games), so he’d be insane to not let Sony use Crash. For Spyro, I’d expect the worst would be that Activision would force SuperBot to include Skylanders Spyro an alternate costume for Original Spyro.

I hope SuperBot really takes advantage of the testers’ feedback. I’d like to see a faster-paced game.

They’re using the PlayStation Move Heroes design for Sly in this before Thieves in Time, and yet we still don’t have Thieves in Time.

Sony, just put in Ratchet and Clank, then I might actually consider if this will be worth my time.
