This honestly wasn’t a very good game. I went into it, with pretty much no knowledge, but it mostly just adapts things from other prominent F2P shooters out there, but brings very little to the table itself. Unlike Blacklight: Retribution, guns cost alot to rent and require you pay for repair fees. The commentary gets really repetitive and just seems like they were wanting to be like SMNC, but didn’t put the effort into it to having better variety. The customization is kinda cool compared to some others, but again, APB did it much better, and it’ll take a long while to get the parts you want, especially since alot of them require you to be a certain level. Not too mention there are killstreaks in this, the majority of them being pointless or unnecessary. There’s very little that’s original or unique in this game.

If your wanting a F2P shooter, your best options are probably Blacklight: Retribution, Tribes: Ascend, SMNC (not exactly a shooter), and Gotham City Imposters.

Yeah, I sort of had hopes when I read the premise for the game on launch day, and it’s just… bad. It feels like an old F2P game, everything done cheaply and quickly, leaving the whole game a pretty unsatisfying experience.

I’ll definitely be sticking with Blacklight and Tribes, even though Tribes’ business model isn’t perfect they’re both infinitely superior games. (I own Gotham City Imposters, but never could get into it really.)

I’m abit split on Gotham City Imposters. I enjoy it’s humor and ridiculous weapons and stuff, but I haven’t really played it alot lately. I think right now, even though I hate the built in wall hack view mode, Blacklight might be the best F2P shooter, mostly due to how comfortable the pay side of it is. You can buy a bunch of different pre-made guns, with ingame currency, for cheap. A game or two can get you a new gun to use all day, which is pretty great. I just wished I liked the game more lol

This game actually did fly under my radar, I hadn’t heard of it which is a surprise because I’m always looking for free to play games.
