Oh Platinum games, you magnificent wackjobs.
The most important thing to take from the following video is the release date for Platinum and Konami’s Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. However, my favorite thing in the video is easily the robot dog with a chainsaw-tail. Priorities, people.
This game is already about as hyped up as it is going to get. Another cinematic trailer won’t really make much difference, but if you want to see some gameplay head over to this post to see it in action. “Action” would be the operative word, but I think “stab” and “slice” are perhaps more instrumental in the grand scheme of words.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on February 19th, 2013.

The game might very well be 60fps but this video ain’t. I would have loved this game on the Vita. It would have probably sold extremely well considering it has no friggin’ competition. On consoles/PC though I think I’m gonna skip it. I was a huge fan of MGS1 you see, and I loved every second of MGS2′s tanker chapter and then…

Taylor, Raiden’s voice actor is none other than Quinton Flynn. Not only has he provided Raiden’s voice for every Metal Gear Solid game the character is in, he’s also well-known for:

Played through the Story once and now giving at a rest for a while before going back to play it on Hard.
Had a blast, since I actually really liked Raiden in MGS 2 and 4.Platinum already announced a bunch of DLC, like the Solid Snake Wooden Sword (imbued with the Spirit of the Legendary Soldier), several VR misssions and two new Story DLC’s focusing on Jetstream Sam and Blade Wolf. Both will most likely be playable, too.
Whatever may come, I’m looking forward to it.

Hands-On: Metal Gear Rising Cut Away My Doubts
There were fewer games at E3 that had as many questions surrounding them as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. There also wasn’t any game I had more fun playing.
A cyborg canine? I believe Platinum games just threw in a homage to Strider and Casshern.
Still nothing that gets me really excited about this, oh well its metal gear so that means ill get it eventually
Not quite the MGS action I’m used to, but it sure looks like fun. I’m going to keep myself posted and wait for the reviews before I make my mind up, though.
Oh, who am I kidding? We all know it’s going to be good, the question is will I like it.
