As a Tech-Preist naturally I was rooting for Shodan all the way. Glory to the Omnissiah!
Again an entertaining watch. The only little nag I have on it is that your commentary goes more out of sync the longer the clip goes on.
I had a great time watching your let’s play throughout the week. There is a good reason why System Shock 2 is my favorite game ever.
Since you said you haven’t finished System Shock 1, I recommend you take a look at the final boss battle in the game. It’s pretty cool.

Where might I find your catalogued Let’s Play Playlists? I can never find a playlist for your let’s plays. I can only ever find one video for any one game you have done.
If there are, you will have to forgive me, I just can’t find them.

There is indeed a mod that updated the graphics, but I was playing this in its original form to show the game the way it was originally meant to be played. I definitely like the mod, though.
I really want this game but its not available on steam or gog.com (even though its currently, the most requested title on that site), EA haven’t released it onto Origin and they never release titles as freeware. All that’s left is eBay and I’m a little wary about buying a 13 year old cd for £20.
There’s apparently a copyright squabble over that game, and god knows when and if it’ll ever be resolved. The only legal way to play this game is to buy a physical copy. Even if you do that, it can be tricky to run. You’ll need to find a download online that allows you to run it smoothly.
I generally like Let’s Plays and spend far too much time watching them however I would like to give some constructive criticism. You’ve been posting your let’s plays here quite frequently recently, all of them already completed. There is no way I could ever find the time to watch through them at this frequency. In addition you do nothing to attract a potential viewer to watch them. What about that text description of the video would make someone watch this if he wasn’t already interested in the game.
As far as the videos themselves go it’s pretty well done, you could use a better microphone but that’s a nitpick. You adressed the talking over dialogue yourself so you’re at least aware of that but you should never talk over the opening cutscene especially one as good as the system shock 2 opening.
This is indeed a good point about my LP’s. I’ve been posting my backlog, because if I go a few installments at a time, I’ll NEVER catch up to myself. Once I become current, I’ll go back to posting installments as I go, because that’s a lot more palatable.
As for the text descriptions…yeah, pretty much. I normally DO have text descriptions of each installment I do, but I posted this entire LP at once, so I was overly vague about it. This was a copy and paste from when I originally posted the thing in the TGWTG blogs over two years ago, so all it was saying was “Yep, it’s System Shock 2 – prepare yourselves.” You make a good point about this one; I’ll definitely try to throw something more informative and flavorful for future LP’s. Thanks a lot!
Finally, yeah, that microphone. Oh man. I really need to upgrade. I got that for 25 bucks two and a half years ago. Not exactly top of the line.

Freakin scary games man.
Yeah, these are really out there. IHNMAIMS is just plain depressing, and this game is relentless with its creepy atmosphere and SHODAN’s condescending attitude. It’s kind of funny that the first two LP’s of mine that you watched featured evil AI’s as the antagonists. Maybe I should do the Portal games to complete the trifecta.
