Lotus Prince Let’s Play: Silent Hill 3 (Complete)!, ![]()
Silent Hill 3 takes place some years after the events of Silent Hill 1. You play as Heather Mason, and quickly discover that things are a lot creepier than normal. This is one of the scarier games in the series, and it doesn’t even start in Silent Hill! But when it does, OH BOY! Prepare for new locales, and even some familiar ones, as well as truly compelling characters (especially the enigmatic Vincent), as Heather tries to find out what the hell is going on, and why she seems to be the center of attention all of a sudden, of both the characters and the environments in this game. That’s right: it’s not just the town that’s interested in her this time. Let’s go crazy!
This embed is a playlist, so when it loads, you can select any installment you like, or let it play continuously!
NOTES:
1. The thirteenth installment, with extras beyond that of the twelfth installment, was recorded some time after the initial LP, as that’s when I was able to record the PS2 copy of the game (I’d only been able to record PC footage at the time I recorded this LP initially). Still, it should mesh well enough with the rest.
2. This is the first LP that I ever received title cards for! Richard Wesker volunteered his services to me through facebook, and I’ve received title cards from him, and fan volunteers, ever since! Thank you, Wesker, and thank you, everyone!

I love your Let’s Plays Lotus Prince, and this one I enjoyed a lot, but every time I watch it, I keep forgetting the name of the amusement park is called “Lakeside Amusement Park” and…ugh! I groan every time. I actually happen to live in a town called Lakeside and we have an old, small run-down abandoned amusement park. It was never called “Lakeside Amusement Park” and it didn’t have pink rabbit mascot, but at one point it did have a cowboy panda mascot…We’re an old west town, a lot of buildings from that time and we have a rodeo every year at the rodeo grounds near the high school which has a huge Ag building, and we have a 4H fair every year too. And we have a huge rural area surrounding the town that has a bunch of farm houses and horse ranches.
Sadly, no Silent Hill shenanigans happen here, but if you walk or drive around the town at night, get gets super dark as there are not a lot of street lights to begin with, especially out in the rural areas, or near the abandoned amusement park I swear it feels just like a Silent Hill game because it’s dead quiet expect for when old buildings or whatever old thing is lying around starts making noises. Super creepy let me tell ya!
Anyway, just thought that was something fun I’d share! ^.^
*it gets super dark. Sorry about that!
Oh geez, you actually have a sort-of Lakeside Amusement Park? Have fun with that.
Thanks for posting!
I really cant believe that I made an account here just so I could make comment xD!
But I think it is worth it:
I was kinda fed up from all the Silent Hill LetsPlays, I already saw but after having seen your LPs on Eternal Darkness (which thanks to you I had to buy again since you reminded me of its joy) and System Shock (which is more of a problem), I couldnt stop myself giving it a try on you SH3 LP.
And boy, was it worth it! It was really fun to see you go though it all even recording the parts that were missed.
You made a hell lot of a work and you are quick as well, since while I took my time watching SH3 you made like 2 finished LPS (Jacobs ladder I already seen and it was interesting). You are probably doing your next work already!
Anyway: Thanks for the effort you went through. And I can understand you reasoning behind the easy difficulty on the puzzles after seeing the one on hard (>_>), still its a shame that there isnt more footage of this (though I am to lazy to look on Youtube).
Also I realized two things I wanted to say:
In original LP, inside the Hospital you found a letter, probably from stanley, saying ” Happy Birthday 14+7+17= 38 years” or something and you meant it may belong to a puzzle. It actually IS a clue to Heathers true Identity/ties. Alessa died with 14 years, Cheryl became one with her when she was 7 and Heather is now 17. So the paper counts the years she lived alltogether.
It also connects to the call of stanly who wished Heather happy birthday. If allesa would have lived she would have been 31, while Cheryl would counting 24 years. But I guess you figured that one by yourself anyway.
In the amusement park you also wondered why Snow White would have a Puppet head. I asked myself something similiar but with Cinderella. Why would she have a red slipper? Shouldnt she have one made of Glass? And then when I stopped the video I realised that the head had the form of an apple! The head was a disfiguration of an apple, which Snow should have in her hand. Silent hill doesnt even stop to disfigure Fairy tales.
(Also i f you are wondering: At the end the stepmother should wear those shoes which were made out of iron, made so hot that she shall dance eternally in them as punishment till she dies. So imagine Cinderella wearing those)
Thank you for the LPs you already did. I enjoyed it and now I will look at my favourite SH-game letsplayed by you
3 is still my favorite one in the series, every time you play it almost you notice something new or examine something you didn’t before.
Heather is just so enjoyable also.
Robbie the rabbit is something that is just as “What the hell…” as pyramid head at times also.
Good refresher course for the new silent hill movie next month also, lol. I want to believe that it COULD be decent at least, it’s SH3 hah…..
Ah yes, Richard Wesker. …do hope he won’t come after you to purge his title cards from your work considering what happened with that OTHER ThatGuy contributor he used to do work for…whatever that incident was.
That should be a problem. Also, from what I hear, that “other” guy is the one who did the purging, rather than Wesker himself.
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate it.
Yeah, I definitely had to look up FAQ’s for the difficult riddle puzzles, and for the silencer, but other than that, I think I was looking for things that I hadn’t noticed before. When I first played the game, it was before I’d played SH1, so I was missing out on some references, like anything about Harry Mason, as well as that notepad “save point” in the amusement park.
I’ve played these games so many times that when I see a cutscene I unknowingly say what’s about to be said cause I know it’s coming, but you’ve somehow managed to make it all feel new again – you’ve provided perspective on things I never knew I was missing, and you went above and beyond by looking into all the extra stuff and explaining things along the way. So thank you for doing this, you’ve probably introduced at least a few gamers to the series and entertained the rest of us. I just wanted to say thanks. I hope you keep posting vids for a long time. If they’re near as good as this, you’re going places.
