Update: Gamespot has an exclusive video showing off Metal Gear Solid‘s Raiden.
Original Story: Although some may have doubted it, it looks like the roster leak from a while back continues to be spot-on. Evil Cole from InFAMOUS is coming to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, just as was predicted.
The announcement was made at the GameStop Managers Show in San Antonio, TX, so I understand why it was only one measly character, as opposed to the more interesting reveals at higher profile events. If the leaked list continues to prove correct we can expect Nariko from Heavenly Sword and Sir Daniel from MediEvil soon, perhaps at PAX Prime in a few days. Then starts the long wait for Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragoon, and Kat from Gravity Rush.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be available on November 20th, 2012 for PS3 and PS Vita.

Someone is exiting the arena for good.
See Kat and Emmet in action!
Currently, Sackboy is one of the most broken characters in PlayStation AllStars Battle Royale. So to have a little fun, me and my buddy tried to demonstrate this one match while streaming. The following video is the hilariousness that ensued.
The best of the best have come to compete in a no holds barred, free for all, battle royal!
Full reveal inside!
Let’s watch carefully for hints of new characters.
Also, details on the story of PS All-Stars.

It’s about time.

How… shocking.

Now we just need Spyro the Dragon.
If this does turn out to be legit, there are some interesting choices here.
Music Mondays revisits the band that brought us tunes from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Bit.Trip Runner.
Anybody knows who that other person Cole was fighting in 0:34? Couldn’t get a clear shot but looks like another new character was secretly revealed.
Wish-list:
Kat from Gravity Rush
A random petal from Flower
And from third-parties, they need some Square-Enix.
Also if they have Heihachi… maybe someone from Soul Calibur? Like Nightmare or Taki.
Here’s hoping the roster leak continues to be correct. Then we’ll get Sir Daniel Fortesque.
According to ScrewAttacks’s Hard News, Crash Bandicoot has been rumored to be added for the game.
I really hope this rumor is true, and as much as I hate to say this, I won’t mind seeing him in any look, wither it’s the classic Naughty Dog look, or *Sigh*…the lame Crash of the Titans/Mind Over Mutants look. -_-
I like that they’re giving him his fire powers to let him stand out from Good Cole.
Since you mentioned the characters, anyone who uses the logic “Crash and Spyro are owned by Activision” loses by default, because there are already a few third-party characters on the roster. Kat is an interesting and unique choice, and could certainly draw attention to the Vita if she’s on the PS3 versions.
Evil Cole isn’t a clone by fighting game definition. His moveset is very different from Good Cole’s.
