Our first game this week is a sweet little taste of an adventure game intended as a test run of sorts for a proposed longer project. It also is a game that reaches damn near dangerous levels of adorableness and I will not be held responsible for those who you that develop cavities or diabetes as a result of playing it. Zomballoons

Speaking of adorable, our next game features just about the cutest take on the undead this side of Plants VS Zombies. Seriously, these undead will threaten to melt your hearts even as they try to chow down on your grey matter. Still, a doorman has got to what a doorman has got to do and in this case that is shoot the balloons of the zombies (who apparently are naturally excellent balloonists; who knew) before they reach the hotel’s penthouse and… Well I will not ruin the surprise.

Give Up

By now we are all no doubt familiar with the game formula of the sadistic voice (be it machine generated in-universe or otherwise) taunting and tormenting the hapless player as they attempt to succeed at an increasingly difficult series of challenges. And yet the truth is for most of these games, the goal is not really to drive the player into quitting in rage, despair, or frustration. Such is not the case however for our next game which really does want nothing more than to completely break your spirit and then lord said breaking over you forever. Rarely has a game taken such distinct pleasure from crushing someone utterly. Which is all the more reason not to give it the satisfaction. So go and play and lets see who breaks whom.

When a prisoner in the old west escapes from jail, it is up to the sheriff to track him down and bring him back to justice. The catch? You play as both the sheriff and the escaped prisoner. It is certainly a fun little extra twist to enjoy while playing this well done point-and-click adventure game.
