    Does it record PS3/Xbox 360?
The way you said that you initially record game footage with Fraps and xsplit is pretty much identical to what I do. The only problem is that my capture software (also an Aver Media product), does not let me capture footage from my PS3 through it’s own software (because of copyright stuff, I’m sure), I have to use Fraps to capture the screen instead. Does this product not do that, or are you only capturing PC gaming?

He says almost RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING that you can hook up a PS3 or Xbox…. (around the 1 minute mark)
The picture shows a PS3 -> PC -> Monitor setup.

      Way to pay attention, man.

And I asked RIGHT AT THE BEGINNING if it RECORDS PS3 or Xbox 360 game footage, not if you can hook it up. I already know you can hook it up, I was wondering if the program that the hardware comes with will record from a gaming console. I already said that the program that I got from Aver doesn’t let me record game footage because the PS3 that I have (I’m sure that it’s the same with every single PS3 system) sends a copyrighted signal to the program and the program won’t let me record the footage. I can view the footage just fine, however. That is the reason why I use Fraps to capture the footage that is projected onto my screen.
My question was if THIS program from Aver doesn’t get prissy and not record because PS3 tells it that it is copyrighted.
