Time for tea!

Southend Interactive, the developer behind the Xbox Live Arcade hit Ilomilo, is teaming up with Dead Island publisher Deep Silver to bring a new title out of an existing IP.

Southend Interactive released a statement regarding the partnership on their official website: “Southend is responsible for the development of a new multiplatform game, based on one of Deep Silver’s already existing and popular brands. The game is scheduled to have its official announcement soon.”

Considering this is a continuation of an existing IP, what the title can be is fairly limited. We do know Dead Island: Riptide is being planned by the publisher, and Sacred 3 is also known to be in the pipeline. Otherwise, it is just rampant speculation as to what Southend Interactive can be working on.
