ChaosD1

An avid MMO player (not expert. There's a difference) Jon "ChaosD1" Burkhardt is best known for MMO Grinder... Unless you're from TGWTG in which he's that guy who drinks Mountain Dew, collects Jigglypuff items and shows up to scream how things don't work that way in Phelous's videos.

I find it strange your pc well can’t run it or to the point “can I run it” told you no. I decided to look at “can I run it” and it told me I’m pass recommended and my pc is over 2 years old and wasn’t the best at the time.

I know fraps and other things like it f-s the frame rate though

My first attempt to play it flat out told me no, but the second time I ran it after everyone told me they patched it up a bit, it was up on the recommended side. It seriously over estimated my old PC.

I think i’ll try it out, if I dont like it, at least the time spent downloading will get me the soundtrack to add to my music library for Pen & Paper RPG sessions.

Yay you finally get to play it :)

HAha nice MK jokes. Yeah I agree the game got realllyy grindy in the ice cave areas. When I finally got to the village burning area, I was pretty much burned out myself.

My brother grinded all the way to the…5th area i think? He was playing Witch. Oohh I would have loved to play as an archer :D

How godawful is your pc that you had trouble meeting this “graphic intensive” game.

    CPU Speed
    Minimum: Single Core 2.4 GHz
    RAM
    Minimum: 512 MB
    Minimum: Windows XP
    Video Card
Minimum: NVIDIA GeForce 5xxx series or equivalent

Are using a $200 shitbox from 6 years ago or something?

      “Minimum: Single Core 2.4 GHz”

That one. That one right there.

        That explains it.

Vindictus is very CPU intensive. Much like most source titles.

Anyway, I haven’t watched all of your videos so I don’t know if you covered it already, but are you planning to do an MMO grinder EVE Online? There’s a 20 day trial available from the page explaining Tournament X. (The main one gives you a 14 day trial)

Hey Chaos, this may be a dumb question, but when it’s finally released, would you be willing to review Firefall?

I’m in the beta, and it has a LOT of potential to be a great game, but in it’s current form, it’s about as repetitive as Vindictus. =P

This is no longer the case; where as the only restrictions apply to some endgame raids, which may only be completed once a day, or in the case of the 24 man raids, 3 times a week.

The last time I played this game was when they still had tokens as well. It’s why I stopped playing. I might check this game out again now that they are gone. I enjoyed my brief time with it.

It’s been a while since you’ve played Vindictus, hasn’t it?

That hasn’t been in place for a year now.

When I saw this on Steam, I avoided it purely on the notion that it had preset characters. If I’m to play an MMO, I want my character to be MY character, even if I’m playing with a predetermined moveset.

After hearing this review, only thing that caught my attention was Mr. Tree-Wielder. I’m not that into “big” weapons, but when it gets into “F’ING HUGE” territory, it gets my attention. Let’s just say that I used pillar-wielding Meng Huo a lot in “Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires.” :P

Actually, you can customize the character and name them whatever you want once you beat the tutorial. However there is very little customization options unless you’re willing to pay.
