I checked out the game’s site after watching this. Looks really good. Definitely something I’ll keep my eye on.

Much appreciated! If you want to get in on Alpha testing, you can also sign up for our Newsletter to get Alpha key priority (unless you already did that…in which case, uh, I’ll shut up now…)

An advantage we have over Drakensang though is that, since we packed so much of the game into such a small size (about 70 megs for the entire Alpha version, so far), it will be much faster to load and more accessible to players. (That, and, since we don’t have to worry so much about bandwidth costs for each individual player, we won’t have to use an aggressive pay-to-play strategy :P )

Anyway, thanks Benzaie! Hope to meet up again!

I found the preview decent. I just hated your tag-lines. Your sound somewhat surprised that a free-to-play game looks good when there are several F2P MMO and other games out there that are excellent not only graphically but in general. Plus, even more F2P games are coming down the pipeline that will BLOW YOUR MIND (MechWarrior Online, Neverwinter, Otherland).

And the shock of it being playable in the browser is not really new. There are tons of playable browser MMOs out there, ones with and without the unity engine. In fact, since you mentioned Drakensang Online, most Bigpoint games are browser-based and use the unity engine.

Well it didn’t shake off my sense of wonder when something on par with the first guild wars can run at 60fps without downloads on my browser, even if it isn’t new ^^
