one guy helped shape my childhood, the other my future. channel awesome made this moment possible and I can never say thank you enough.
I remember it like it was yesterday. On a cool fall morning I boot up my computer to an incoming Skype call from Angry Joe. I applied to be a writer for Blistered Thumbs when it was launching and Joe was calling to tell me all about this position. It was one of the most surreal moments of my life as I was about to be exposed to a whole new side of video games I never thought possible. Over the last 2 years I’ve done things and met people that have changed my life. I owe that to Blistered Thumbs and the awesome folks at Channel Awesome. Unfortunately, today is my last day as a writer for the site.
BT has always been a beloved hobby for me and I’ve really enjoyed contributing to the site. However, life’s responsibilities have grown too much for me to continue. Currently, I work as a PR and Community manager for a startup social games company. A position I attribute to getting in large part to my work here at BT. I have to give special thanks to Joe Vargas for giving me this opportunity and Holly Brown for being so supportive during my time.
Reading your comments has always brought a smile to my face and made me want to keep writing more. Thank you to the readers for that. I’ve made countless friends and memories through BT that will last a lifetime. For that, I’m truly grateful. I hope to return to the site some day, but until then this is goodbye.

Taylor, I didn’t really knew you well (’cause I never tour around on BT that much like I do on TGWTG), and I wish I did. I do, however, recall that you made a response to my comment about my thoughts on Dark Cloud on your post about Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (which by the way, can’t believe we have to wait for Jan. 2013) and it was nice of you to give me the compliment. It felt good.
Well, this is great news for you to extend your opportunities and do more things for your life. Wish you the best and we’ll look forward for your return. Thanks Taylor.

It was great meeting someone here who somewhat understood, or rather, had similar taste in RPGs as I did. Even though I’m not alone again, I enjoyed reading your opinions on the games you covered and reviewed. Thanks for the company and best of luck with your current career. God bless.

I’m not sure what surprises me more, that everyone else is left untouched (because there’s always that one douche who just goes through every article and downvotes everything) or that your completely harmless comment got one anyway.
