SO MANY WAYS TO HURT YOU TEDDIE…SO MANY WAYS

Hey P4 fans! Atlus has unleashed their second tutorial video and, in a surprise move, Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3 is here to teach some new moves! While some of the moves, like air-cancelling, will be familiar to veteran players, she also discusses the stauts ailments in the game, which can be seen in the image above and the trailer below. The trailer also explains skill boosts, which are button presses that add a little oomph to your attacks.

Persona 4 Arena will be out August 7th, this year and pre-orders will net you an arranged soundtrack. So, what do you think? Are you ready to throw down with your favorite characters?

I can only hope I don’t suck too bad at this when I first start as I’m really looking forward to this game…maybe I should replay some Blazblue for practice

Maybe it’ll finally hit something for me this time around.

Nice. My one concern is that the myriad abilities in the game that are tied to a combination of two specific buttons will become difficult to remember, or even difficult to use on a regular controller (hitting X + B or Y + A on a 360 controller is not exactly natural and easy with just your thumb, though that also depends on which attack buttons are mapped to each actual button). Hopefully a little time will be enough on the former, and perhaps mapping to shoulder buttons will solve the latter.
