Damn you, vertical box art!

A lot of game’s get “Collector’s Editions.” But when we heard that Journey, flOw, and Flower were getting one, it made more sense than ever before. These games have never been released on a disc, so this will literally be the only edition available for collectors.

The set will, of course, include all three acclaimed PSN games. It will also include “the original soundtrack for all three games, three exclusive mini-games from thatgamecompany, a 30-minute documentary about Journey, Creator Commentary play-throughs of all three games, exclusive Journey PSN avatars and a 1-month subscription to PlayStation Plus.” All that for $60? That’s a pretty good deal, right? What if I told you it was only $30?

That’s right. On August 28th, 2012 you you will be able to get all three of thatgamecompany’s main games, as well as their three 24hr Game Jam titles, plus all those bonus features for half the price of a normal retail game. If you aren’t convinced already, then you don’t own a PS3.

When I bought Journey I was also playing some VITA games and was kind of surprised that they DIDN’T make Journey for VITA. It seems like the perfect fit, the grapics would look great and packaged with the other 2 games it would be a great relaxing trilogy to play on the bus or plane.

I wish they could make a Journey game for the Vita. Maybe I’m the only one asking for it, but it’d be nice.
